Evidence For Faith in God

Class time: Dec 7 – Mar 1, Wednesday evenings, 7:45 – 8:30
Brief devotional starting at 7:30
Teacher: Floyd Williamson
Location: In person, auditorium

The intent of the class is to help each Christian to think about and recognize the evidence for what they believe. Faith is not blind, but based on evidence (Hebrews 11:1, 6). It’s important to know the evidence in order to maintain one’s own faith, hope, and confidence of salvation (1 John 5:13). In addition, the world we live in is often both skeptical and critical about people who believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Bible. This is why each Christian needs to “…be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” (1 Peter 3:15).

Primary Study Guide: Bible
Goals / Objectives: To encourage a greater faith in God that will help each of us be more confident in sharing our faith with others (1 Peter 3:15-16)
