SUNDAY ADULT CLASSES
11:15 A.M. TYRONE J. ALLEN
Leaders rise and leaders fall, and followers are often disillusioned about the future, or what lies ahead. The book of Samuel teaches us to put our trust in God and not man. There is a great tension towards being accepted by others vs pleasing God. This tension causes us to make foolish decisions to want what appears to look good like the world around us. And, as history goes, we tend to think that we can do no wrong and, God will forgive us because He knows our heart. But, as the Scriptures teaches and cautions us, “that God is not mocked”, that “we reap what we have sow.” These are some of the themes embedded in the study of I Samuel, this Spring, 2020 –come thirsty.
