Stanley Marcellus Reynolds

Stanley Reynolds was baptized in April 2002 at the District Heights Church of Christ in District Heights, MD.  He joined the fellowship at the Silver Spring congregation in 2019.  He has served in the Lord’s church in finance, as an usher, men’s ministry leader, and bible class teacher.  He joined marital union to Noel Reynolds on December 31, 2001 in High Point, NC.  From this union came Yasha Reynolds who is now a freshman at Tuskegee University.  His son, Martquell Johnson, resides in North Carolina with their two granddaughters, Taylor and Jordon.  He attended North Carolina School of the Arts on a full scholarship and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  For most of his professional career he has taught dance in the public schools in North Carolina, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia as well as on a collegiate level.  As an entrepreneur, he began Marcellus Dance Studio in 1999 and managed it successfully for 20 years but was forced to close during the Covid-19 pandemic.  He currently teaches dance education for the City of Alexandria, Virginia and is looking forward to retiring in 2024.
