Jonathan Walker grew up in Hampton, VA, served 4 years as a Marine, and met Easther while he was in California.
In one year, Jonathan was baptized, married Easther and they moved to Maryland. In 1987, Jonathan was baptized in the Church of Christ of the Southeast (now Church of Christ of Beltway).
He is a program manager for the United States Department of Transportation and also has the Wireless Local Area Network applied. He has a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. engineering from Virginia Tech, Johns Hopkins and Howard University, respectively.
The Walker family placed membership in Silver Spring in 2005 and have two adult children, Jonathan, Jr. and Janáy.
