One of God’s promises to all Christians is that when we are baptized into Christ, we also receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). The Holy Spirit, along with our own faithfulness to the Lord, produces a spiritual fruit in our lives. In Galatians 5:22-26, Paul gives a list of nine qualities that describe this “fruit of
the Spirit.” The purpose of the class is to examine the qualities of “fruit of the Spirit” and how those qualities are manifested in our lives. The first couple of weeks we will study its contrast, “the acts of the flesh” (Galatians 5:19-21).
