SHEPHERD’S TABLE BACKPACK PROGRAM
Help fill Backpacks for the Homeless to enhance our regular support for The Shepherd’s Table, we hope to participate this season in their “backpack” program. The backpacks are given out to those in need who receive their meals and stay overnight during the winter months. Our first backpack is in the lobby for you to fill.
If you would like to participate, just place your items directly into the backpack. Whatever is collected will be taken to The Shepherd’s Table after New Year’s.
Items most needed are: backpacks, winter scarves, hats, gloves, hand warmers, protein bars, juices, blankets, long underwear, travel-sized toiletries, and any other items that could be used by either men or women. Your generosity to those in need is always appreciated.
